The brief draws on WHO Best Buys for tackling NCDs1 and the World Stroke Organization–Lancet Neurology Commission ‘Pragmatic solutions to reduce the global burden of stroke’2. These documents set out key actions that will assist governments to deliver on their commitments on non-communicable disease (NCD) reduction.
