On the margins of the 79th World Health Assembly, the World Stroke Organization and our partners in the Global Stroke Action Coalition are proud to build focus on implementation at ' : ' co-hosted by the Ministry of Health & Population - Egypt and the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).

Moderated by journalist and stroke survivor Sharon Epperson this high-level roundtable will bring together ministers, WHO leaders, development agencies, civil society, financing and industry partners, to focus on the next critical step: turning the landmark WHO stroke resolution into meaningful progress for patients worldwide.

The WHO Resolution on 'Reducing the burden of stroke: strengthening prevention, acute care, rehabilitation and health-system readiness' creates an opportunity for governments and stroke stakeholders to work together to identify priorities and accelerate troke action plans, strengthen health systems and improve access to evidence-based care across the full stroke pathway. We look forward to working with partners to chart a path to implementation.
The time is now.
